Employee arrested in Glen Burnie arson

GLEN BURNIE, Md. - Police charged a towing company employee with setting fire to several cars at the Glen Burnie business.

Police arrested 29-year-old Steven Latz and charged him with multiple crimes including 2 nd degree arson and reckless endangerment for the fire at Ed's Towing in the 300 block of Marley Neck Road. Four cars were damaged with a loss estimated at $3,000.

Authorities said the blaze started in a late model Saturn around 11 a.m. Monday and quickly spread to three other cars. An investigation and witness reports led police to Latz  Monday afternoon.
