ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Two men and a teen are facings charges after police say they tried to run from police in a stolen car.
Annapolis police say the incident started just before 8 p.m. Tuesday. They say one of their officers tried to stop a stolen car on Route 665 near Godspeed Way when the car took off. The car got on I-97 and eventually spun out of control near the Route 3 overpass.
After crashing, the three people inside got out and ran. Police eventually were able to find and arrest Alexander Jerome, 22, Rodell Pickney, 19 and a 17-year-old. They were charged with unlawful taking of a motor vehicle. Pickney also had an outstanding arrest warrant.
The teen was released to his guardian after police gave him a juvenile citation.
