In Anne Arundel County, the deaths of 21 people remain unsolved.
Police have been investigating the cold murder cases of these men, women and one child, dating back to 1970. This week, Anne Arundel County Police hoped to crack another unsolved crime, offering a $10,000 reward for information on the murder of a 44-year-old Baltimore man found in an alley near Ritchie Highway the night of January 7.

Here are just a few of Anne Arundel County's cold cases:
Jay Steven Fayne – The afternoon of October 17, 2006, police received a call from a juvenile saying his father had been shot in Severna Park. Officers arrived to find Fayne dead inside their home in the 500 block of Center Drive from multiple gunshot wounds. No motive was ever determined.
Neal Charles Fitze – Police said that Fitze was found inside of car parked near the North Arundel Hospital emergency room just after 1 a.m. on October 27, 1995. He died from a gunshot wound.

Quaniece Orange – Two-year-old Orange was found on December 2, 1986 by her mother. She found the baby girl in their Glen Burnie apartment bedroom and said three people were in the home at the time of her death.
Oscar – A decomposed body was found during the construction of the Marley Station Mall in Glen Burnie on April 23, 1985. Police said the body was discovered in a metal trash container and estimate the victim had been dead for five months.
Myra Cason – On January 28, 2011 just before 11 a.m., officers responded to the parking lot of Gavigan’s Furniture Store and Pep Boys on Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie. They found 63-year-old Myra Elizabeth Cason dead inside her car from multiple gunshot wounds to her upper body. She was a retired Anne Arundel County school teacher.
