Anne Arundel police bust 11 in prostitution sting

MILLSERVILLE, Md. - Eleven men were charged with prostitution after allegedly soliciting sexual acts from undercover detectives posing as escorts, Anne Arundel police said.

In March, detectives conducted targeted enforcement in an effort to quell prostitution in the Linthicum hotel district, police said.

During the undercover operation, detectives posed as escorts on websites often used for prostitution, police said.

Nearly a dozen men were charged with prostitution after meeting with undercover detectives and allegedly soliciting sex acts for money.

Charged are Richard Gene Berger, 65, of Baltimore; David Manuel Pacheco, 62, of Odenton; Joseph Richard Berkebile, 32, of Cockeysville; Assan Cham, 20, of Columbia; David Samuel Harden, 48, of Keymar; Setiawan Sujono Tan, 38, of Perry Hall; David Rafael Perez-Zelaya, 21, of Columbia; Michael Keith Mills, 34, of Catonsville; Jay Zeller III, 61, of Hendersonville; Hani Kamal M. Morshid, 37, of Mechanicsburg, Pa.; and  Michael Dwayne Sims, 53, of Dallas, Texas.
