Baltimore Child Abuse Center's (BCAC) mission is to provide all reported victims of child sexual abuse in Baltimore and their non-offending caretakers with comprehensive forensic interviews, medical treatment, and mental health treatment with a goal of preventing future abuse.

Darkness to Light
Darkness to Light works to end childhood sexual abuse by way of empowering adults through awareness and educational programs. There are local Darkness to Light trainers/facilitators available to work with your staff!

Dawson Safe Haven Center
It was a crime that shook the entire city and made national news. On October 16, 2002 the home of Cornell and Angela Dawson was fire bombed. Mr. and Mrs. Dawson and their five children died in the fire. The location of the home has since become a monument and a center that provides emergency housing assistance.
The Dawson Safe Haven for families is located at 1401 East Preston Street.

The Family Tree
The Family Tree is headquartered in Baltimore city and has offices in Baltimore, Harford, Howard and Prince George's counties. It was formed via the 1997 merger of Parents Anonymous of Maryland and the Child Abuse Prevention Center.
