Festive Seasonal Events Coming Up at CCBC

BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. (Nov. 14, 2012) – The Community College of Baltimore County is hosting a December filled with seasonal and other cultural events designed to put you in the holiday mood. 

 

CCBC ESSEX ACADEMIC THEATRE – TENNESSEE WILLIAMS'  "CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF"

Nov. 29, 30 and Dec. 1, 8 p.m.; Dec. 3, 10 a.m., Dec. 4, 1 p.m., B Building Theatre, CCBC Essex, 7201 Rossville Blvd.
Set in the plantation home of Big Daddy Pollitt, a wealthy cotton tycoon who is dying of cancer, the play examines the relationships among members of his family, primarily his son, Brick and Brick's wife, Maggie the Cat.

BENJAMIN BANNEKER PLANETARIUM SHOW – "CHRISTMAS STORY"

The Christmas Story displays the sky from Bethlehem around the time of Jesus' birth and presents possibilities about what the astronomical events would have been a Christmas star.

CHILDREN'S PLAYHOUSE OF MARYLAND – DISNEY'S "THE LITTLE MERMAID JR"

A beautiful young mermaid longs to leave her ocean home to live in the world above, but she must defy her father, deal with an evil sea witch and convince a prince that she's the girl with the enchanting voice.
