NOTTINGHAM, Md. - A water main break closed a portion of Belair Road in Nottingham Friday morning.
The roadway was temporarily closed in both directions between Wholesale Club Drive and Dunfield Road after a break in a 12-inch water main, according to Baltimore County Police.
As of 8:15 a.m., one lane for southbound traffic on Belair Road had reopened.
Both lanes for northbound traffic on Belair Road at Putty Hill Avenue were expected to be closed most of the day, police said.
Alternate routes include Harford Road and Honeygo Boulevard.
