Victim in deadly Baltimore stabbing identified

BALTIMORE - A 51-year-old man was fatally stabbed in East Baltimore Sunday, and while police have released the name of the victim, investigators are still working to identify the person responsible for his death.

Baltimore Police officers were called to the 1300 block of East Lafayette Avenue around 1:45 a.m. Sunday to investigate a reported stabbing.

When officers arrived, they found a man lying on the ground, suffering from multiple stab wounds to his arms and chest. He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.

The victim has been identified as 51-year-old Gregory Nealy. Police trying to determine his last known address.

Homicide detectives are investigating and anyone with information about the case is asked to contact them at 410-396-2100.
