Stanley William Lester Gwynn, 45, of Elkridge is charged with theft between $10,000 and $100,000 for the role police say he played in the string of thefts.

His suspected co-conspirator, Robert Weathers and Robin Nelson, were charged earlier this week.

Police believe the four people stole $25,000 worth of jewelry from Bijoux Jewelers in Lutherville by walking into the store as separate couples.

"While three of the suspects distracted employees, the fourth took jewelry from a safe in the office," a release states.

A fourth suspect, identified by police only as a woman, is being sought by investigators. Police plan to release her identity after she has been officially charged.
