A Howard County judge Monday sentenced Jason Anthony Bulmer to life in prison for killing a well-known Howard County businessman and blogger.
Circuit Court Judge Timothy J. McCrone sentenced Bulmer to life with all by 30 years suspended for the killing of Dennis Lane, according to a release.

Lane was stabbed to death on May 10, 2013. Bulmer admitted to killing Lane on Feb. 21, 2014.
He told investigators that his then-14-year-old girlfriend Morgan Lane Arnold told him to do it. The two were planning to run away to California together. After the stabbing, both Bulmer and Arnold were found in a nearby room, sitting together, covered in blood.
Court documents show Arnold instructed Bulmer to stab her father in the neck 10 times and to stab his girlfriend 15 times.
Arnold is scheduled for a juvenile waiver hearing next week.
