A construction worker was rescued from a partial trench collapse in Southeast Baltimore Wednesday.

Fire officials said the incident occurred around 2:28 a.m. in the 6600 block of Quad Avenue near North Point Road.

According to fire officials, three men were working when the partial trench collapse happened. The trench is about 15 to 20 feet deep.

One man was trapped inside. Baltimore Fire Crews were able to rescue that man and he was taken to shock trauma.

Officials on the scene say the man who was trapped had debris up to his chest before he was rescued.

Two of the men were able to make it out of the trench without being rescued. They were also taken to an area hospital.

Officials said they are in good condition.

MD-151 is open in both directions and Quad Ave is accessible from both NB & SB North Point Rd after it was closed for hours.
