TOWSON, Md. - An SUV crashed into the Drumcastle Center on York Road across the street from the ABC2 News station Thursday morning.
At about the same time, two other vehicles were involved in an unrelated accident in the 6400 block of York Road.
York Road was closed between Gittings Avenue and Regester Avenue four about 45 minutes as a result.
The crashes happened shortly before 8 a.m.
Police, fire trucks and at least one ambulance responded to the scene.
The Drumcastle Center houses several county offices including the Baltimore County Department of Health and Department of Social Services.
Baltimore County Police have charged Hiwot Arbi, 48, with failure to reduce speed to avoid a collision.
Police said Arbi was driving through the parking lot at a high rate of speed, preparing to park, when she struck an unoccupied parked vehicle, struck a curb, then became airborne and crashed into the building.
Arbi and a female passenger suffered minor injuries but refused transport to a hospital.
