BALTIMORE - A bus fire on northbound I-95 just past the O’Donnell Street exit had all northbound lanes stopped Thursday evening.
According to MDTA spokesperson Sgt. Jonathan Green, a bus transporting 35 passengers caught fire around 6:25 p.m.
All passengers were able to get off the bus safely and no one was injured, Sgt. Green said.
The passengers went to nearby businesses to wait for a relief bus.
As of 6:48 p.m., MDTA was routing traffic to I-895 as crews managed the scene. Baltimore City Fire reported the fire extinguished at that time.
