3 buildings damaged, no injuries in West Baltimore fire

BALTIMORE - Flames spread into three rowhomes in West Baltimore Friday morning, but fire officials say no one was injured.

Around 4 a.m. Baltimore City firefighters were called to the 600 block of North Carey street.

The fire went to a second alarm when crews learned the fire had spread from a vacant rowhome into two other buildings.

No one was injured and the fire was under control by 6 a.m., fire officials said.

North Carey Street was closed to traffic between Harlem and Edmondson avenues while firefighters worked to put out the flames.
