A water main break in Towson first flooded much of the area and now is more of a traffic nuisance.
The break happned near the intersection of York Road and Bosley Avenue in the lane leading to the Towson Bypass. At one point, water was pouring out of the main and flooding the area. The water also caused the roadway in the southbound lanes to buckle. That has caused Baltimore County Police to close part of the southbound lanes in the area of the break.
Crews from the Baltimore City Public Works Department are arriving on the scene to tackle the break. No word how that will further affect road closures and traffic. Also not sure at this time what businesses in the area have been affected by the break.
