The National Weather Service has confirmed that two tornadoes touched down in Harford and Baltimore counties Saturday afternoon.

Tornadoes are  touched down in the Fallston area of Harford County as well as two locations in Essex. The first location was near Sussex Elementary School and the areas of Lance Ave and Woodlynn Road, according to Elise Armacost, spokesperson for the Baltimore County Fire Department.

A total of 28 homes were damaged in that area as powerful winds uprooted trees and toppled power lines.

The second tornado touched down near Island View Road on the water where eight homes were damages as a result of the storm.

Crews from the NWS spent Saturday evening is Essex and Fallston working to confirm if tornadoes did in fact come through the area and they were confirmed on Sunday.

Gee It sounds like some folks are upset that their pictures wee not in the paper. My brother and his family live in Tornado Alley and they really do have some tales to tell.

Lower BackRiver Neck Road near Rocky Point a Tornado touched down the damage is a lot worse than up in Essex on Lance Ave. Someone needs to get a news crew down to Island View Inn in Rocky Point to see the damage down there it is bad!!!!
