The ABC2 News Storm team is tracking a winter storm that is developing that could bring a serious amount of snow to the area.

ABC2 News meterologist, Justin Berk, says the storm could produce six inches of snow or more for parts of Maryland beginning Tuesday into Wednesday.

The National Weather Service issued a Winter Storm Watch for Maryland beginning Tuesday afternoon until Wednesday afternoon.

The temperatures will drop into the mid to upper 20s Tuesday night and Wednesday.

A Winter Storm Watch means there is a potential for significant snow accumulations.
