A new reason to never leave your couch: UberEATS is delivering in Baltimore!

UberEATS is an on-demand meal delivery service that allows you to get food from your favorite restaurants sent right to your front door. Uber partnered with more than 100 restaurants in Baltimore for the launch.

Much like Uber's driving service, you put in your address but then you get a list of restaurants that will deliver to you and the approximate wait time for the food. You just click on the restaurant you want, choose your food, and wait for the driver to bring it to your door.

The service started Sept. 8. You need to download UberEATS app on iOS and Andorid or go online to ubereats.com.

Participating restaurants include Water for Chocolate, Dinosaur BBQ, La Tavola, Dangerously Delicious Pies and Birroteca.

UberEATS is similar to OrderUp, another delivery service that allows you to pick a restaurant but then have your food delivered by a driver.

Many of the restaurants in both apps don't offer delivery and this is a way for them to get food out to more people.
