BWI Airport just launched a new app to cut down on the time it takes to go through customs.
Mobile Passport Control allows travelers to upload their passport information and customs declaration forms ahead of time, preventing the need for paper documents.
The app is free to use and doesn’t require pre-approval. The goal is to create shorter wait times when arriving back in the U.S.
BWI is the 18th airport to offer the expedited process.
