Shock Trauma kicks off a fundraiser campaign to add a new critical care tower to save more lives

BALTIMORE, Md - The University of Maryland Shock Trauma is a worldwide leader in Trauma Care.  It is the first coordinated system in the country and the heart of Maryland's Emergency Medical System.

More than 150,000 people in the state have been served at Shock Trauma.  There is an immediate need to add a new critical care tower for Shock Trauma to save more lives.

Karen Doyle, Vice President of Operations and Nursing along with Marianne Rowan-Braun who is overseeing the campaign dropped by Good Morning Maryland Saturday to discuss the campaign.
