Almost 50% of back and spine surgeries do not have successful outcomes. This can lead to over medication ,subsequent surgeries, and even malpractice lawsuits.
Paul D'Amore of D'Amore Law says that proper physical therapy can alleviate the need for back and spine surgery in some cases.
Jennifer Balducci of One Physical Therapy agrees. She says that even in successful back and spine surgeries, a majority of people wll experience returning symptoms without the correct lifestyle changes.
