Giant delivered 1,000 turkeys to the Maryland Food Bank on Wednesday as part of their annual food drive.
The company's 'Food 4 Families' drive had all 167 store locations participate and donate. In addition to the turkeys, Giant is also collecting non-perishable items to be donated to five local food banks, including the Maryland Food Bank.
In addition to the Maryland Food Bank, the Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank, Capital Area Food Bank, Blue Ridge Area Food Bank, and Food Bank of Delaware will also receive 1,000 turkeys this week.
