CLEVELAND - Call it gaming as you go.
Coca-Cola Park in Allentown, Pennsylvania, home of the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, has installed a urinal gaming system in its bathrooms.
The team describes it as "hands-free gaming" because you control the game with your urine stream. Here's how the IronPigs break down the technology in a news release :
When a user approaches the urinal, the video console flips into gaming mode, using patented technology that detects both his presence and stream. Algorithms then allow the user to engage with the screen by aiming in different directions to test their agility and knowledge.
There's incentive to master the art of this new gaming. High scores will be displayed in real-time across various videoboard displays within the ballpark.
As an added health element, ads will be displayed on the bathroom game screen reminding men to check their prostates.
The IronPigs are the Class AAA Affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies.
