Students submit to breathalyzer at graduation

SAINT PAUL - A graduation ceremony in Minnesota has left parents there very upset.

They say a high school violated the students' rights by having them take breathalyzer tests during the graduation rehearsals.

The faculty say they smelled alcohol on some of the students.

"I said you can't test them all because some of the students have alcohol," says parent Jim Welp.  "You can test them but you can't test them all.

The superintendent says the administration feared several of the students would be driving after the rehearsal was over.

The school declined to tell exactly how many students tested positive, but they did say it was in double digits.
