It's a list that just might make you lose your appetite.
For the first time ever, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is revealing which foods are the biggest culprits when it comes to food-borne illness.
If you're a salad lover, make sure you wash your greens because salad staples like spinach, kale and lettuce topped the list.
They are responsible for 46% of food-borne infections.
While meat and poultry accounted for fewer illnesses, food-borne disease outbreaks from this type of food accounted for 29% of deaths.
The list is based on food-related sickness from 1998-2008.
