Ravens player Matthew Elam was arrested in Miami, FL for drug possession and reckless driving early Sunday morning.
Sources say Elam was initially stopped for reckless driving.
Once pulled over officers searched the vehicle where they found more than 20 grams of marijuana.
Elam is charged with possession of more than 20 grams of cannabis, possession of cannabis with the intent to sell or deliver, and possession of a controlled substance.
The Ravens issued a statement saying "We are aware of the arrest of Matt Elam. Matt is not in our plans for the 2017 Ravens."
Elam becomes a free agent on March 9.
