After investigating, police believe at least nine woman were trafficking victims of Murray. He place dads on the website, “Backpage”, known for prostitute, according to a police release. They believe he would set up “appointments” for the woman, drive them all over the state to different hotels and force them to perform sexual acts for money, which he would take. Police believe Murray set up a system where the female victims were reliant on him for heroin, food and sleep and would control their consumption.

Police arrested Murray once he was released from the hospital. He has been charged with human trafficking and prostitution; and has been released from the Howard County Detention Center on $15,000 bail.
