Philadelphia, Pa. -
The Philadelphia Health Department will install the machines in "at risk" schools where students exhibit a disproportionately high number of sexually transmitted disease cases. The dispensers are being installed during the winter break.
All students, even those as young as 14, will have access to the free condoms unless their parents sign a form prohibiting them from participating. According to the school assistant superintendent, the new condom dispensaries will be positioned "just inside the doorway near the entrance to nurses' offices.
