BELLEFONTE, Pa. - Everyone wants to know if Jerry Sandusky himself will take the stand. We've learned Sandusky is ready to testify but a decision won't be made until the defense calls its final witnesses today.
On Tuesday Sandusky's wife Dottie took the stand and told jurors she never saw any inappropriate contact between her husband and his accusers.
She said several of them would sleep over and it was her husband who would go downstairs to say good night.
The defense also called several character witnesses to the stand to paint Sandusky as a respected, church-going, father figure.
Earlier in the week jurors got to hear an unreleased portion of a TV interview with Sandusky from last November.
The judge says the defense will likely rest its case by lunchtime today with closing arguments on Thursday.
Thursday morning may be the last opportunity for Sandusky to take the stand.
