Government to battle youth tobacco use

WASHINGTON, D.C. - More taxes and more bans.

That's what the government says needs to be done to keep young people away from tobacco.

This after a report was released that revealed more than 80% of smokers begin by age 18 and 99% of adult smokers in the U.S. start by age 26.

The U.S. Surgeon General's Office says smoking at an early age can not only lead to addiction, but also lung disease, early heart disease and other health problems.
