Colorado adultery law to be struck

DENVER, Co. - First, Colorado legalized pot. Adultery could be next.

The state House Judiciary Committee has approved a bill that would repeal the law against married people fooling around.

The law is a 19th century holdover and prosecutions are rare. But supporters of repeal say it gives authorities the right to question people about their private lives.

A related law against contributing to "sexual immorality" would also be repealed by the measure. The bill now goes to the full Colorado House for a vote.
