Kate Hudson is urging the media to stop speculating about her relationship with baseball star Alex Rodriguez because she is sick of seeing wedding rumors splashed across the front pages.
The actress was recently reported to have become engaged to the Yankees third-baseman after photographs showed a sparkling diamond on her wedding finger.
But Hudson admits the rumors are wrong because the ring in question is always worn on her other hand.
She tells Britain's Elle magazine, "Did you know that it was this ring, on my right hand? I'm like, 'Why would I even respond? What would I say if you're going to lie about something ridiculous?'"
