Lorde to perform at Preakness

The Maryland Jockey Club today announced 17-year-old Grammy Award winner Lorde will headline this year's Preakness InfieldFest concert.
The teen recording artist will perform an extended set on the main stage during the single-day event at Pimlico Race Course.
The New Zealand native is fast making a name for herself and took home two Grammy Awards last month. She joins a number of other big names in the music industry who have performed at Preakness.
Pit Bull and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis were top name headliners in 2013. Bruno Mars, Maroon 5, Wiz Khalifa and Train are among other major music acts to grace the infield stage in recent years.
The 139th running of the Preakness Stakes will take place at Pimlico on May 17, 2014.
