Annapolis Irish Weekend

What: 5th annual Annapolis St. Patrick's Parade through downtown Annapolis. A good old-fashioned Hooley kicks off the weekend Saturday. The event features pipe bands, Irish dancers, food and drink. 

When: March 4 - 5; parade begins at 1 p.m. Sunday

Celtic Canter 5K & Irish Celebration

What: Celtic Canter 5K race in historic downtown Westminster. Enjoy post-race party, awards ceremony and Irish celebration with live music and a pub crawl.

When: Saturday March 11 beginning at 9 a.m.

Gaithersburg St. Patrick's Day Parade

What: The city of Gaithersburg partners with the Harp and Shamrock Society of Gaithersburg and Peterson Companies/Rio Washington Center to host Celtic dancers, bagpipers, fire trucks, clowns and equestrian units. 

When: Saturday March 11 at 10 a.m.

Where: 1-370 and Washington Blvd.

St. Patrick's Snakes

What: Legend says Ireland can thank St. Patrick for its lack of snakes, but Robert E. Lee Park celebrates the snakes. Ages 5 and up, $3 per person or $2 for members. 

When: March 11 - 12 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

St. Patrick's Dining Cruises

What: Spirit of Baltimore Cruises gives you fabulous views of Baltimore's Inner Harbor with a St. Paddy's Day buffet. 

When: March 12 for lunch, boarding at 10:30 a.m. & March 17 for dinner, boarding at 6:30 p.m.

Baltimore St. Patrick's Day Parade

What: In its 50th year, the Baltimore St. Patrick's Day Parade celebrates Irish culture, music, song and dance. 

When: Sunday March 12 beginning at 2 p.m.

Shamrock Shootout

What: A double elimination cornhole tournament with matches being the best of three in the winners bracket and a single game in the losers bracket. Proceeds will benefit the Stay Ready Riderz Bike Club and Wicomico Friends of Recreation & Parks' Tomorrow Fund.

St. Patrick's Moonlight Cruise

What: Celebrate St. Patrick's Day with a 2-hour night cruise on the Patapsco River. There will be a nightclub atmosphere with a DJ, dancing, buffet and skyline views. All guests must be over 21 years old. Tickets start at $36.90

When: Saturday March 18 at 11:30p.m.
