Finals Night on Dancing with the Stars! It always brings hardcore competition and phenomenal performances.

This season, the Finalists had their own personal touch to the Freestyles that made them so engaging. They all started the show with a "Redemption Dance". They revisited a style they did not excel at earlier in the season.

No team scored a perfect 60.

Ginger Zee and Val Chmerkovskiy redeemed their Contemporary. The concept was most effective. They weaved in elements from different dances throughout the season. But, in the package before, they talked about Ginger's back injury and even though I was sure she wasn't going to collapse on the floor, I had a knot in my stomach waiting for her to collapse on the floor. She prevailed. 28.

Nyle DiMarco and Peta Murgatroyd tore up the dance floor with their redemption Quickstep. It was on fire! I can't believe the speed of it, let alone Nyle maintaining tempo and synchronization. Unbelievable. 27.

Paige VanZant and Mark Ballas were a literal "Fireball" on the floor. They also happened to perform their redemption Salsa to "Fireball" by Pitbull. I can't believe they didn't leave smoke behind them. I don't think I've ever seen something like that from a star on DWTS. It had "pro" written all over it. 29.

I adored the concept of Ginger and Val's Freestyle, her homage to Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire. It left me wanting more, though. There was a lot of little elements that didn't move the dance forward. The judges called those "details", I call them "filler". This style is typically right up my alley. This time, eh. The judges ate it up. 30.

Nyle and Peta pulled off the most unorthodox Freestyle I've ever seen. It wasn't hip hop or a big showstopper, it was an exceptionally moving and emotional contemporary. I had chills for the entirety. It was incredibly poignant and profound. Nyle Demarco is an amazing person. 30.

Paige pulled off a pretty exquisite freestyle herself. It definitely showed that she's in a happy place and full of self-worth. She has made a beautiful transformation this season. When it started, she was so concerned that everybody like her. Now, she believes she's worth it. A delightful transformation. 30.

The competition is tight. All three deserve to win for different reasons. My prediction is Ginger Zee in third, followed by Nyle in second, and Paige bringing home the mirrorball trophy. Bring it, Finalists.
