She breathed life into Disney’s Mulan.

She kicked-butt as Street Fighter’s Chung Li.

She broke barriers by becoming the first Asian-American actor cast in a contract role on daytime drama television in As the World Turns. (Fun fact: She was also named one of the 100 most influential Asian Americans of the past decade by A Magazine.)

She showed she has a softer side as June in the The Joy Luck Club.

And now, Ming-Na Wen is coming to Baltimore.

Wen is the latest big-name guest expected to make an appearance at Baltimore Comic-Con, which runs from Sept. 25-27.

“Ming can currently be seen as Agent Melinda "The Cavalry" May, one of the leads of  Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. on ABC. She will also be seen in the upcoming Blumhouse feature film 6 Miranda Drive opposite Kevin Bacon,” according to a release from Baltimore Comic-Con organizers.

Convention founder Marc Nathan said, “We've been working to get Ming-Na as a guest this year for a while. The planets finally aligned, and we are ecstatic to be able to announce her attendance in September.

“She has done such fantastic work, from dramatic roles to action adventure, and we love Agent May! We know her fans will be lining up to get to meet her in a few short weeks!"

Wen boasts an impressive filmography dating back to the 80s. Joy Luck Club aside, perhaps her most notable role was portrayal of Dr. Jing-Mei Chen on ER.

Wen's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. co-star Edward James Olmos was scheduled to attend, but has since dropped out because of a work conflict.

"Unfortunately, Edward James Olmos has had to cancel his upcoming appearance at the Baltimore Comic-Con due to a work conflict. We look forward to welcoming him back to a future show," Comic-Con organizers said. BUY YOUR TICKETS HERE
