The last day of spring will go out on an uneventful note. A bit damp and dreary with increasing humidity! The first day of summer will usher in the possibility of a heat wave.
There will be ample humidity and heat with temps in the mid to upper 90s that may linger for three consecutive days. If that happens, it will be the first heat wave of 2012.
Right on cue, the first day of summer is bringing the heat, so make sure you bring the water, sunscreen, a wide brim hat and loosely fit, light color clothing. Don't forget to stay indoors during the hottest part of the day and if you are outdoors seek shade as much as possible. Otherwise, enjoy your days of summer!
