We have gone from forecasting snow last week to forecasting temperatures near 70 this week! The strangest part is that many of you are probably not that shocked due to the fact that we have been on a rollercoaster ride in terms of temperatures all winter long.

The mild temps have been one of the reasons why we have not had any real accumulations on the roads the past few times it has snowed this season. The air temperatures might have been cold enough to support the snow but the ground temperatures have been too warm to keep the snow from sticking.

This time of the year the average high is 46 degrees. Today highs will be in the low to mid 50s and the mercury will keep rising from there.
