Given this week's deadly outbreak of tornadoes across the south, and after some initial inaccurate reports that the twisters struck "without warning" - I was extremely pleased to see ABC World News report tonight (video attached) on how extended local severe weather coverage saved many lives as the skies opened up across what is known as "Dixie Alley"
Though the weather rarely gets this severe here in the Baltimore region, this is the very type of life saving weather coverage we strive for here at ABC 2, using the best technology, Maryland's Most Powerful Radar.
