Please see the attached forecast graphic for our latest thinking on the big 1st Komen Race for the Cure in Ocean City this weekend.
Travelers in pink can expect rain free weather Friday at the beach (with some fog), and a warmer day Saturday that could feature scattered showers and storms.
When it comes to Raceday Sunday, right now, the weather looks very rainy and quite cool. We are talking a major coastal storm potentially.
So walkers will want to back an extra layer of insulation and perhaps a rain jacket or shell. The good news is that the chance for lightning on Sunday looks very slim, and, eastern Maryland desperately needs the rain.
With luck, we will get a brief break in the weather right around race-time, and everybody wins! Stay tuned...
