During last Sunday's "Way to Indy" ABC2 Special I got the chance to experience my favorite food, blue crab, in an entirely new way.
Chef Mark Laubner cooked up a tailgating classic - sliders - but instead with broiled crabcakes and an awesome avocado spread.
Yes, I said avocado. (I'm a big Old Bay guy myself, but I must say the avocado + potato roll + crabcake just "worked" - so good)! (Please check out the attached video, you can all but taste them...)
I was once again compelled to think of that line in the movie "Wedding Crashers - "Crabcakes and football, that's what Maryland does!"
