BALTIMORE - Getting prepared for a hurricane entails stocking up, boarding up and sometimes getting out. But there's also a psychological level that shouldn't be forgotten.
A hurricane can be scary and talking to children is important.
Richard Huffman, president and CEO of Celebree Learning Centers, offers tips for children based on how they handle situations.
If you have a child with high anxiety, Huffman advises that you ask about their feelings. For children that are learners, Huffman recommends making a learning experience out of it
