FEMA creates website on how to be prepared for hurricane season

MIAMI, FL - The Federal Emergency Management Agency has released tips on how to keep you and your family safe during this hurricane season.

The hurricane season officially starts on June 1.

FEMA created a website that includes how to make a kit, how to be prepared, and how you can get involved in your community. The website also includes a place to sign up for alerts in the lower left hand portion of the page. All you have to do is entering your email to be placed on the newsletter.
