BGE will begin repairing a major gas line under Interstate 695 tonight.
The ramp from the innerloop to westbound Security Boulevard will be shut down from 7p.m. through 5a.m. Monday. It will also be closed next week until repairs are finished.
There will be a detour in place, but the State Highway Adminstration advises motorists to prepare for delays.
Drivers affected by the closure should take the ramp to eastbound Security Boulevard, turn left onto Woodlawn Drive, make another left onto Whitehead Road and turn right onto westbound Security Boulevard.
