Mayor's Christmas Parade, Baltimore County tree lighting to affect traffic

Holiday spirit will be in full swing his weekend! The Mayor's Christmas Parade will take place in Hampden at 1p.m. this Sunday.


The following roads will be affected:

  •  The Falls Road Exit (Exit 8) from the northbound Jones Falls Expressway from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m. Motorists are advised to use the Northern Parkway exit.
  • Falls Road from Hillside Road to W. 36th Street from 12:30 to 4:00 p.m.
  • W. 36th Street from Falls Road to Chestnut Avenue from 12:30 to 4:00 p.m.
  • Parking restrictions in effect along parade route


More holiday celebrations in Baltimore County! The tree lighting at Towson Towson will be held Saturday. Allegheny Avenue will be closed from Washington Avenue to the roundabout from 4:30-8: 30p.m.
