NEW YORK - A late-season fade dropped the Houston Texans from AFC leader to third seed in the playoffs. As such, the Texans will open the 2013 NFL playoffs on Saturday against Cincinnati.

That game will be followed by an NFC wild-card matchup between Minnesota and Green Bay. That's a rematch of yesterday's game won by the Vikings 37-34.

Next Sunday, the AFC North champion Ravens will host Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts at 1 p.m. EST, reuniting them with former defensive coordinator Chuck Pagano. The Colts head coach has returned from three rounds of chemotherapy.

That will be followed by the NFC East champion Washington Redskins hosting the Seattle Seahawks, the No. 5 seed in the NFC playoffs. The Redskins enter the playoffs on a seven-game winning streak following last night's 28-18 victory that eliminated Dallas. The Redskins are the first team since the 1996 Jacksonville Jaguars to make the playoffs following a 3-6 start.
