NEW YORK - The Super Bowl. It isn't just for TV any more.
There are a lot of people buying new, flat-screen TVs for their living room or den before Sunday's big game between the New York Giants and New England Patriots. But there is also a growing number of people who will be just as content to watch the action on smaller screens. And for them, there are plenty of online options.
Those who have Verizon Wireless can watch the game on their handheld devices -- because of a collaboration involving the carrier, the NFL and NBC, which will carry the game on TV.
You can also watch online at NBCSports.com. That version of the game will have interactive features -- but it won't have the same ads that will air on the broadcast version. That means come Monday morning, when everyone else is talking about the commercials, you'll have to jump in with something like, "yeah, but how about that GAME."
