DENVER - To no one's surprise, Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow has thanked his "Lord and Savior Jesus Christ" after the team's 29-23 overtime victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers in the NFL playoffs.
Tebow thanked his teammates and coaches too, but gave thanks "first and foremost" to Jesus for doing so much in his life.
Tebow connected with Demaryius Thomas on an electrifying 80-yard touchdown pass on the first play of overtime. The play took 11 seconds and was the quickest ending to an overtime in NFL history.
Tebow knelt in his own end zone, pounding a fist in triumph before taking a victory lap in jubilation.
The Broncos now will be heading to New England for a second-round game against the Patriots on Saturday night.
