4 mobile applications to help you train

Technology can help you get into marathon shape.  Mobile Apps could be the coach you need.

1. You can prepare for specific runs with RunKeeper.   You can record your speed, distance, times and even map out your runs with it.  It's free.  And you can get it commercial free for $9.99.

2.  If a triathlon is more your speed, there are apps that help you run, bike and swim.  PaceCalc sets your pace for running, swimming and biking.  It also helps you manage race distances.

3.  Muscles are only part of the training.  You also need to track your the food you're eating.  CalorieCheck can help you do that.  It will give you detailed Nutrition Facts for more than 7000 foods.  It even includes Weight Watcher Points.

4.  If you get hurt during your training, there are even Apps to help you alleviate the pain.  Pain Free shows you ways to compensate and correct injuries.
