FORT CARSON, Colo. - The U.S. Army is sending 11 soldiers to the London Olympics.
But they're not part of the security team.
These GIs are part of the U.S. Olympic team.
Seven are athletes, while four are coaches.
Sergeant Dremiel Byers is a wrestler. He says soldiering and wrestling have a lot in common, "Never quit. Keep driving, keep pressing."
The Army Olympians are members of the Army's World Class Athlete Program, with headquarters at Fort Carson in Colorado.
They got a formal send-off yesterday from their boss, a three-star general.
